BIN & BOX RENTAL
Bins
Gilton offers easy to order bin rentals for your home projects. Bins are to be used for general household wastes only and are available in a variety of sizes and prices to meet your needs. We will deliver and pickup the bin according to your schedule. From start to finish, you can count on Gilton to make the bin rental process simple, easy, and reliable.
Properly Using Your Bin
Do Not Overload
The bin MUST NOT be overloaded. Waste can be NO HIGHER than the top of the bin. If the bin is overloaded or waste is above the top preventing us from picking up the bin on schedule, you will be required to unload and/or level the bin, plus you will be charged an additional fee.
Prohibited Items
The following items are PROHIBITED: Dirt, rocks, sod, roofing material, concrete, tires or large pieces of wood. These types of items should be disposed of in a larger, construction type Box. Click here to learn more about Box rentals.
Hazardous Materials
In addition, the following types of wastes CAN NEVER be placed in any of our containers: Hazardous materials of any kind, including televisions, monitors, computers, batteries, copiers, fax machines, telephones, fluorescent lights or ballasts, mercury thermometers or thermostats, dead animals, infectious wastes, paints, oil, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals, hot ashes, cleaning agents or any types of liquids.
Bin Location
Place Bins on the Street
The bin will be placed on the street. Delivery can be anytime during the day. See our Delivery Schedule by city/county below.
Delivery Schedule
Monday: Modesto (4 yd / 5 day only), Livingston, Merced County
Tuesday: Oakdale, Riverbank, Hughson, Waterford, Stanislaus County
Wednesday: Modesto
Thursday: Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon, San Joaquin County
Friday: Modesto, Ripon
Bin Removal
Once Emptied, Do Not Place Additional Waste in Bin
PLEASE NOTE – Once the bin has been emptied by the waste collection truck, DO NOT PLACE ADDITIONAL WASTE IN IT. A separate bin transportation vehicle will be by to pick up the empty bin. It is important for the bins to remain empty so that they can then be delivered to a new customer.
Return Trip fees
Return trip fees will be charged if we cannot empty or remove the bin on the scheduled day due to customer’s error.
Service Fees
A service fee will be charged if the customer changes their mind after bin is delivered.
Extending Your Bin Rental
Need your bin for a little longer?
Not a problem! Just let us know BEFORE your removal date that you would like to extend. You cannot extend on removal date. If extending, bin will be dumped on original pickup date and remain on site.

Larger projects generate more waste material. Whether you are doing a seasonal clean up, removing a driveway or patio, or undergoing a major construction or landscaping project, Gilton has a variety of boxes to meet all your disposal needs.
10 Yard Drop Box
A 10 Yard Drop Box allows for easy loading of heavier materials such as dirt, sand, bricks, and concrete. This box is large enough to hold entire driveways and patios, depending on their size.

25 Yard Drop Box
The 25 Yard Drop Box is our most popular size, recommended for small remodels, roofing projects, seasonal yard cleanouts, and decluttering. Loading is easy and it can hold various types of waste materials.

35 Yard Drop Box
A 35 Yard Drop Box is perfect for your mid-sized projects. We offer two options to assist you with your workable space. We recommend this box size for small scale demolition projects, cleanouts, landscape and tree trimming, and room remodels. This box is large enough to hold a variety of material, including bulkier household items like furniture and appliances.
